On our Over 50's Tours New Zealand Contrasts and Southern Treasures you will experience a balanced mix of adventure and relaxation, adventure and tranquility, landscape and culture.
These over 50's holidays are perfect for singles or couples. Here you will meet active people who enjoy the companionship of like-minded people who want to laugh and have fun, but also enjoy peace and relaxation with a bit of comfort.
You stay in comfortable accommodation in beautiful locations, sometimes in cabins, sometimes in a cottage or in a hotel with a stylish and comfortable atmosphere, sometimes in Bed & Breakfast accommodation with a family connection. Time and time again you will experience the wonderful hospitality of New Zealanders.
There will also be good and healthy food which we will cook together or enjoy in one of the many beautiful and stylish cafes and restaurants in New Zealand.
We keep our tour groups deliberately small so that you can really immerse yourselves in the nature and history of the country. You will enjoy the stories and legends of our enthusiastic and knowledgeable tour guides and local guides and experience New Zealand up close and personal.
Spoiled for choice - 'New Zealand Contrasts' or 'Southern Treasures'?
You cannot decide which of the two guided adventure over 50s tour is the right one for you? What is the 'big' difference between the two walking tours?
On both tours we take you through the unique countryside of New Zealand, experience the local hospitality and explore many beautiful hiking trails.
The tour 'New Zealand Contrasts' has its focus on the North Island - and is intended to wet the appetite for the South Island. The trip is very suitable for those interested in culture and landscape and those who want to see all the highlights they have heard so much about. You learn a lot about the history of New Zealand's Maori culture and experience this from different perspectives - you will not be just a spectator.
The tour 'Southern Treasures' - as the name suggests - focuses on the South Island and is the 'appetizer' for the North Island. The South Island is synonymous with exciting, varied landscapes and a fascinating, extraordinary wildlife. The two-day hike and some activities in this tour require a higher level of fitness.
Don't torture yourself too long with your decision - almost half of our customers have already been on both trips or are planning the second trip for the near future!
Many of our former customers are happy to give a personal reference. Call or email us and we can provide you with some contacts.
